Cécile Cornou is a junior research scientist at the LGIT Grenoble (an Earth Science laboratory) and at IRD (Institute of Research for Development). After a Geophysical Engineer diploma from the School and Observatory of Earth Sciences (EOST) of Strasbourg, she got a PhD in seismology at the Joseph Fourier University in Grenoble followed by a two-years postdoctoral stay at ETH Zurich in the the Hazard and Risk group. Her research interests include seismic microzonation, ambient noise-based techniques development and interpretation (H/V, arrays), site effects estimation (classical estimation and dense array analysis). She participates to various national and international projects (SESAME European project, cooperation projects with Algeria and Venezuela).
