RESEARCH INTERESTS
Primary research interests are related to the design and analysis of structures to withstand seismic attack. In particular, current research emphasis is on (i) seismic assessment and retrofit of existing bridges; (ii) seismic design of concrete bridges; (iii) seismic design philosophy for precast concrete structures; (iv) seismic design of reinforced and unreinforced masonry structures; and (v) development of realistic dynamic testing methods to simulate inelastic response under seismic loading.
