As described in here, Category A scholarship are available to third-country applicants. The deadline for application to this scholarship has been extended to the 6th January 2010. It is noted that every application to the MEEES programme, submitted by a third-country national within this deadline, is automatically considered also as an application to the third-country scholarship programme.

In addition to the scholarship mentioned above, Category B scholarships are available to European applicants and Consortium scholarships are available to applicants of any nationality. The deadline for application to these scholarships is the 30th of April 2010, meaning that every application to the MEEES programme, submitted by applicants within this deadline, is automatically considered also as an application to the Category B or Consortium scholarship programme.

In summary, the application deadlines are:

• 31st of December - application to MEEES with request for a Category A scholarship
• 30th of April - application to MEEES with request for a Category B scholarship 
• 30th of April - application to MEEES with request for a Consortium scholarship
