Within the scope of the MEEES programme, there are also opportunities for third-country scholars (academics and/or professionals of outstanding experience) who may wish to carry out teaching or research assignments and scholarly work in any of the MEEES consortium institutions.

The European Commission will provide 4 grants of 13,000 €(Euro), corresponding to stays of three months duration, for scholars coming from any third-country.

Interested applicants are therefore invited to kindly send us, via email and before the 30th April 2010, a copy of their Curriculum Vitae, together with a letter of intent describing the envisaged plan of activities during the three months stay at the MEEES consortium.

Within four weeks of the end of the submission deadline, all applications will be reviewed and assessed by the MEEES Executive Committee, and the respective applicants will be informed of the preliminary assessment outcome. The latter will then be submitted for final confirmation and approval of the European Commission, with a definitive response not being expected to arrive before May 2010.
