Notes:

The format of the class is 7 sessions of 3 hours each that generally run from September to November. Suggested readings, in the form of papers and books, are listed at the end of each session. The grade is based 100% on homework assignments. Homework includes: 1) Reading of some of the suggested books and papers; 2) Preparing a short report (less than 10‐15 pages) on a specific topic, chosen from a list provided at the beginning of the class; 3) Presenting the report as a short Power Point lecture (about 15 mn) given to the whole class. Together the report and lecture account for 100% of the grade. It is recommended that the time spent on the homework assignments does not exceed a total of 50 hours.
